Shenanigan Ferris Ride
Directly after takeoff to the new session, Dave tries to adjust to the strange customs of the trolls, the havoc of romantic miscommunications, and recent past events, which continue to linger with all of them. It's hard to begin an entirely new life.
Fifth Iteration
In which xeno/inflation/mpreg/egg-laying is taken entirely too seriously, compulsive world building is showcased, and I pretend really hard that Gamzee might ever be a sympathetic character again. Originally found at: http://homesmut.dreamwidth.org/8447.html?thread=39867903

For PB&J: Take one part well-aged longing, one part awkwardness, two parts enthusiasm, and a dash of possessiveness. Mix well. Season to taste with the presence of a crabby moirail in the next block. Part of Miracle Child 'verse
Miracle Child
More than two sweeps after being returned to a restored Alternia, the trolls face impending adulthood and banishment from the planet. Gamzee Makara fully expects to be culled on conscription for poor health and sopor addiction - what he doesn't count on is the personal attention and protection of the Grand Highblood.
Land of Regrets and Second Chances - Chapter 18
Your wriggling day is in three days, and while you normally celebrate this event with the apathy it deserves, this particular sweep is different. That’s because it will be your eighth sweep, and it happens to coincide with the arrival of the imperial drones. This is a milestone that every troll looks forward to with a heady combination of excitement and terror. For most trolls, when they reach their eighth sweep, they become adults. Not you. When you reach your eighth sweep, you will die.

Heavy In Your Arms
You haven't ever felt bad to pail a brother or sister before, but for some reason you look down on his strange, angry, nubby-horned little face and it hurts inside you, hurts like a motherfucker. In a universe where the hemospectrum is long-abolished but never forgotten and the descendants of ancient rebels are looked to as the leaders, a tired purple-blood drowning in his drugs find a lonely mutant on the run from his bloodline, in the wrong place, for all the wrong reasons. Occupation
Maybe they won the war? Maybe they just managed to slip through the Armada's defenses? Anyway humans land on Alternia. They find nothing but children and teenagers (some of them probably wondering why they haven't been conscripted yet and where the ships are, so technically about to be considered adults but not officially adult yet) Are the humans here to kill the mother grub? take control of it? do damage control now they've won and they're checking how the kids are being raised because sentient being rights and troll societal attitudes suck we're brainwashing them into a ~morally superior way of doing things? oh good lord this explains everything they're raised by animals, the internet and each other what really this is Lord of the Flies as a valid educational method -- WHAT happens to the orphans??? How much do the troll kids freak the fuck out seeing adult aliens? Do they try mounting a resistance? Do any humans adopt young orphans? what? Please no gore and no canon character death, but apart from that anything is welcome. OCs are good, so are age-tweaked canon characters.
