I know my friends and I (and maybe you guys too) will sometimes have fake relationships going on, like if we get into a joking argument I'll tell her I want a divorce. (Usually several times, resulting in multiple divorces and no marriages.) Other times we'll talk about how I cheated on her because she didn't satisfy me emotionally, as I want children and she does not, etc. I do this with multiple people. I want the whole YJ team to talk to each other like this (jokingly) and have the JL members catch them. It doesn't even have to be to this level, maybe member A refers to member B as their boy/girlfriend/wife/husband. Maybe they just refer to other team members as "baby" or "dear" whenever their mentor shows up.

The team disappears on a mission. They go to some alternate dimension, a place where they have to grown up quickly. The Justice League searches for them to no avail and finally it’s time to “bury” their children, and move on. (I’m talking a considerably amount of time has passed, like eight years.) Then, one day they just return. They don’t talk about what happened during those years they were gone, but their families know something happened. Anon!Writer doesn’t have to write out anything horrible, I just want to see major bonding between everyone and them readjusting to their lives.

Young Justice are left alone for a weekend while all of the Justice League are doing important things. They get bored and decide that it's time to party. (Either they party at Mount Justice or they The point is, they get drunk. Then start doing body shoots off one another, making out, laughing, dancing, having sex with each other. Bonus points: The Mentors show up the next morning and find their children in very awkward situation.

Batman gets heartily, heartily sick of Superman's attitude towards Superboy and decides to take drastic action - he takes the kid under his own wing and helps to train him alongside with Robin. Superboy ends up being part of the 'Batfamiy', with Robin sometimes calling him 'Bro' during YJ missions. And then when Superman finally gets his head out of his ass and comes to try to teach Superboy, he has to first pass the Batfamily's tests to see if he is worthy of Superboy. Because Bats take care of their own.

Everyone knew that Robin and Kid Flash were close friends. Extremely close friends. But no one really realized just how close of friends they were until the night Megan decided she wanted to host a movie sleepover at the Cave.
