When the full moon comes, Kris Allen finds himself transforming into a fox, after an attack earlier that day by what he thoguht to be a rabid fox. Injured and confused, the tiny fox is picked up by a couple members of the local werewolf pack as a chewtoy gift for their Alpha, Adam Lambert. But when Adam lays eyes on the little ball of fluff, he decides to keep him instead...

Kris isn’t taking his first summer without Adam well.

Prompt: How about Kris gets turned into a werewolf, werewolves instinctively mate for life, turns out Katy is not his mate so they have to get divorced, Kris gives her the house and goes to stay with Adam who he hasn't seen since before he got turned, he walks in and immediately realises Adam is his mate....

This is not happening. He's not chained up in the back of a van driving through the desert to fucking Arkansas of all places. He definitely hasn't been kidnapped by some tiny adorable dude with a gun babbling about how Adam is his mate. And there is no way in hell he's a werewolf. Except for how the first two things are very clearly true, and he's starting to worry about the third.

The problem, Kris thinks, isn't the wolf's instinctual surrender; it's the human's complete capitulation.
