Good news for Old Testament textual critics! The University of Zurich Library has made the volumes of CTAT available for free download as part of ZORA (Zurich Open Repository and Archive). I’ve been told (correct me if you know something more) that there will be no Pentateuch volume for this series. I want to thank Dougald Mclaurin and Brian Davidson for bringing this news to my attention. Enjoy!

Here are the results: some of the “don’ts” for how to interact with your professor or teaching assistant. For what it’s worth, No. 2 was by far the most common complaint.

The standard teaching day is from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. It is recognised that learning and teaching sometimes takes place outside of these hours. For timetabling purposes, ‘morning’ is defined as any time before 13:00, ‘afternoon’ is defined as any time between 13:00 and 18:00, and ‘evening’ is defined as any time after 18:00.

This is a survey of the main trends in twentieth-century literary theory. Lectures will provide background for the readings and explicate them where appropriate, while attempting to develop a coherent overall context that incorporates philosophical and social perspectives on the recurrent questions: what is literature, how is it produced, how can it be understood, and what is its purpose?

Katherine Sonderegger’s new book, the first in a three-volume systematic theology, offers an occasion to answer these questions in a concrete way. It also provides an opportunity to widen the frame on systematic theology’s would-be demise, or exile, and so to understand anew the current issues and challenges that face Christian academic theology today.
