A novel of love, desire, redemption, regret, and denial--not necessarily in that order.

Lance was not sure he wanted to meet Adam Lambert. On the one hand, incredibly hot guy, great singer, on the other hand, there was that little throwaway dig he'd made about 'celebrity-magazine bullshit' in his coming-out interview. Two years after an unexpected moment on tour put distance between them, Adam and Kris's friendship has survived but nothing has quite been the same. Kris and Katy worked through the aftermath together, but Katy's having doubts that the choices they made at the time were the right ones. When Mother Nature, Katy Allen and Kris's Id conspire to have Kris and Adam working together again, they all get a second chance to get it right.

Weirdly, the guy is looking thrown as well, as if Kris could possibly inspire that same sort of first impression in a creature like this. "Hi," the guy says after a beat, smile returning. "I'm Adam."

Prompt: Kris/Jim. This time instead of DMing while intoxicated Jim decides to make a call. Drunk conversation/teasing turns into ~more. Either phonesex, or one of them getting off thinking the other doesn't know, your call.

Prompt: Adam/Cale. Adam decides to surprise Kris by showing up at his Live in the Vineyard concert. What happens when Cale, later that night after quite a bit of wine, accidentally knocks on Adam's hotel room door instead of Kris's?

Prompt: Kris/Tommy. Kris meets Adam's band for the first time. Fast and urgent fucking against a wall, which *maybe* turns into something more.

Kris doesn’t mean to break up with Katy over it; it just happens.

Kris might be a cold-blooded killer, but he's not a total douche.

Adam knows that: (a) Kris is a good guy, (b) he can cook better than Allison, (c) he is cute, and (d) he has a knack for finding trouble. Looking at the tiny little dude, you wouldn’t think he could be anything but oh-so-harmless and cute—like Adam had at first—but no. It’s all a disguise. Kris is actually a magnet for weird shit.

It was like drawing a line, was the thing: the line everyone always wanted to draw, with him on one side and Adam on the other.

Adam's senior year at Burbank High is a bad one. But things seem to have a way of coming back around. Or at least Tommy Ratliff does.

More [info]help_haiti fic! [info]daemonicangel asked for some crossover Kris Allen - Jared Padalecki interaction, and when she said it didn't have to be porny or romantic, I took her at her word. There's a truckload of flirtation, but it doesn't quite go there as far as Jared/Kris is concerned. There is, however, manhandling, which is as it should be when someone of Jared's size meets someone of Kris's size, as far as I'm concerned. :D Plus, there's Jensen, because...well, there just is. And a little Misha.

The club is playing Adam's latest single, bass thumping and vocals soaring, and Adam's music always gets Kris going.

Tommy and Kris shove Adam into a dark room. No talking necessary. They're in control and Adam doesn't mind.

This is stupid. He's wandering around his own living room with dishpan hands, his attempts to make this evening some perfect romantic fantasy a failure already. Maybe he should have just gone with Barry White and enough candles to set off the smoke detector. AKA Adam has dinner with Kris and Katy.

As Kris and Katy start their new life in LA, they immerse themselves in recording, publicity and culture. But when things start to emotionally unravel for Adam, they must decide if they're ready to redefine their relationship. Second in a series (first part: Wonderland).

If only making Kris happy was that easy.

When Kris auditioned for Idol, Katy never dreamed he'd make the Top 13, much less be crowned the winner. But if she was unprepared for that, it was nothing compared to meeting Adam.

Kris is in Brad, Brad is in Kris, and Adam is in a lot of trouble.
