It seemed like a good idea at the time—a road trip to the Grand Canyon—although Eliot doesn't actually remember agreeing to the idea. He figures it'll be fine as long as he does most of the driving.
"He's a collector," Neal said. // "Just don't get into trouble while we're gone," Nate said.
Neal stuck his hand in his pocket and came to stand next to him, looking out at the New York night. "It doesn't have to be complicated."

Now, the man is looking at him with a curl to one side of his mouth that might be a smile. "I'm Nick Fury," he says. "Director of S.H.I.E.L.D." There's a pause, and Alec tries to think of something smartass to say, but he's got nothin'. S.H.I.E.L.D. It's like the frickin' Death Star, and not the one with the whoops-blow-up button, but the fully armed and operational battle station. He swallows.
"Children!" he said, not shouting, but definitely commanding. "Are you really interrupting a time-sensitive, extremely delicate job to argue about movie night?”
“I don’t do Vegas,” Hardison said firmly.
"Why isn't Eliot getting the makeover? You know, the guy who sleeps in his clothes and thought Herbal Essences was some kind of tea?"
Hardison whistled under his breath and leaned closer. “I am all about the Monets and the Manets and all of that, but this? This is what I call art.”
He's just tired of waiting to be ready to do it.
"Spencer!" Lassy shouted over the din of the bullpen. Shawn grinned. He bet his most favoritest Head Detective had just found the 'surprise' that an 'anonymous admirer' had left on his desk earlier.
YOu know these teams would so be able to take over the world together.
Somehow Nathan figures it shouldn’t have been as surprising as it is to find that Eliot deals with it in the way he does.
