What starts out as a routine con for the Leverage crew takes a turn for the worse when Eliot, in a case of mistaken identity, is kidnapped by the BPO. To rescue him, Parker and Hardison will have to team up with a hacker named Nomi Marks and venture into a world stranger than anything they've ever imagined.
When Lito's career hits a lull, he starts shopping hobbies to fill his time. Yoga, cooking, and petty crime don't really work out, but a blog giving love and sex advice seems to do the trick.
"My name is Lito. I'm... I'm a friend of Wolfgang's." Felix couldn't stop his body from betraying him and flinching. "Wolfgang doesn't have friends." "Eh... you'd be surprised."
Nomi wants help from a team of criminals to bring down BPO, Amanita isn't sure she trusts them, Hardison is impressed by Nomi's hacking skills, Parker comes to the rescue, and Eliot notices some very distinctive fighting styles. [Podfic + Text]
Kala's not a criminal. She just needs to break into her company's server room to investigate its possible dealings with BPO. This man who's also breaking into the server room, though...
Waiting is the most difficult thing a person can do. Standing between two points – one good and one bad – can feel like the worst place to be. But with waiting comes results.
This is an exploration of the Sense8 universe in 8 (of course!) installments. The stories focus on very different character constellations, vary a lot in tone and focus, and they don't necessarily all take place in the same verse/timeline. But they do focus on 8 sensations or feelings that seem to be at the core of this story about friendship and family.
Marina prompted me with "Sense8: anything post show with Rajan/Kala/Wolfgang." I decided I wanted these three to have a little time to themselves without there being a giant sensate orgy going on at the same time. Set immediately post-series finale, ware spoilers.
Rajan finds it easier to accept his wife is a sensate in love with someone else than that he might be falling for Wolfgang. And he, and she, for him. ---- A build up from Wolfgang and Rajan to Wolfgang, Kala and Rajan told from Rajan's perspective. First two parts take place in the finale and the last after.
Distantly, as Will talks, he remembers his mother running her fingers through his hair, the music on the TV, their living room smelling like the dinner they’d just had, sparse but comforting. He remembers his mother looking at him, and telling him you are not a reflection of those who cannot love you. Remember this, Wolfgang. He’d wanted to ask her, what that meant, but something in the way she looked at him stopped him in his tracks. He thinks he understands now, what his mother meant. He’s worth it. To them, he’s worth it. A fic from Wolfgang's PoV, spanning the entire finale.
They were back in the Positano villa, the place they had spent their honeymoon, and the symbolism of it had not escape Rajan. Three times he’d come here with his wife now. The first they had come together, just the two of them, to embark upon their shared life together. The second time he had arrived without her, but with all of people, all of the secrets, she had withheld from him. He had followed blindly behind her into a world of violence and persecution and warfare, and such love, so much love he barely knew how to process it. It was then he and his wife started their marriage anew, with the knowledge that they understood each other now, with clarity, and generosity, and hope. This third time, Wolfgang Bogdanow was their only companion, and Rajan could not help but wonder what that meant for the third symbolic consummation of his marriage. Perhaps this place was destined to be both where his marriage had opened, and where it would close.
From Paris to Naples, from the Eiffel Tower to an exploding tour bus, from eating pizza to discovering his wife has a secret telepathic lover: Rajan is getting a lot of mileage out of his holiday. Or, the one that's literally just Amor Vincit Omnia from Rajan's point of view.
Rajan watches Wolfgang pick up his wife and twirl her around; they look good together, like two halves of a whole—although that isn’t particularly true, with six of their other selves standing nearby. He feels a knot twist in his stomach; Rajan tells himself it’s jealousy.
The war is over, the sensates are safe, and Wolfgang finally got everything he ever wanted. Now, the morning after his entanglement with both Kala and Rajan, there is only a single question left to answer: What now?
Wolfgang walked up to the door, took a deep breath, and knocked. “Come in,” came Rajan’s call from inside. Wolfgang gently pushed open the door and stepped into the room, head ducked and shoulders hunched, a nervous smile on his face. Rajan looked up from the book he was reading on the bed and smiled. “Kala’s at work still,” he said, fumbling for his bookmark and placing the book on the bedside table. Wolfgang swallowed. “Um, I was actually… looking for you,” he said. “Is that okay?”
Felix is right about too many things too often for Wolfgang's peace of mind. That includes that he should maybe, just maybe, let Rajan know he wants to ride his dick.
“Luffy,” his mother says, passing on a name and a blessing all at once. “Oh, my Luffy… You are going to be so loved, I just know it.” She dies with a whisper and a smile on her face. Luffy, only a few minutes old, scrunches up his impossibly tiny little face and begins to cry. And then, like magic, seven other newborns scattered all throughout the seas did exactly the same.
