Leia glided closer, brushing Luke’s hair out of his face, then leaning in. “Both of us,” she whispered, and then kissed him firmly. Han could feel Luke let go of all the tension in his body all at once. If he had stopped holding him up, Luke would have simply dropped to the floor.

The future is much too tangled up in the past, Leia thinks--a past that belongs properly to neither of them, that was shaped and bequeathed to them by the choices of others.

When they come to Leia with the notion of one of the trio starring on a holonet competition show, the last thing she and Han expect is for Luke to volunteer to go on Dancing Across the Galaxy. And nobody expected him to actually try and win.

“You okay with this?” Han might have been asking him, or Leia. Probably both. Leia looked between them, a little smile tugging at one corner of her mouth. “I’m willing to share.” “Luke?” There was probably some common sense argument to be made against sleeping with both of them--but hell, he’d been blowing past the common sense arguments against sleeping with Leia for months now. He slowly nodded. “Y--” he cleared his throat. “Yeah.”
