Gerard was only thirteen when his mom dumped him and his brother off at the local group home. His mom was under the delusion that if she placed them with a foster care system, then they would go to a family that would actually be able to care for them. Yeah, it wasn’t the brightest plan. He felt like an idiot, because he felt like he was too old for this place. Surely, they would find him a place to be with Mikey. But it didn’t work out that way. Four years passed and even though people thought about adopting them, they never did. Gerard made sure of it, if only because it was the only way he would never be separated from Mikey. He knew why his mom didn’t want them. It was because she hadn’t known that she was having sex with a werewolf until her oldest son had shifted for the first time. After that, it had been a downward spiral of fights between his mom and dad, his dad walking out, and then his mom deciding that she didn’t even want her own kids, based solely on the fact that they were werewolves.

This is not happening. He's not chained up in the back of a van driving through the desert to fucking Arkansas of all places. He definitely hasn't been kidnapped by some tiny adorable dude with a gun babbling about how Adam is his mate. And there is no way in hell he's a werewolf. Except for how the first two things are very clearly true, and he's starting to worry about the third.

Tony's life is almost perfect. He lives in a converted warehouse full of friends (and one frenemy), has a job that leaves him plenty of time to think about other things and a regular Friday night campaign. If his best friend, Steve Rogers, hadn't moved away to New York and left him behind, then perfection would've been achieved. Tony can roll with the punches though and he's almost all the way over that little bump in the road (shut up Bruce, he totally is) when Steve moves back, looking taller and broader and more confident than ever and Tony's left with a converted warehouse full of friends (and one frenemy), a job that leaves him plenty of time to think about other things, a regular Friday night campaign and the uncomfortable realization that maybe he's in love with his best friend and has been since he was sixteen.

Geno had arrived in Pittsburgh looking every minute of the nineteen hour flight from Helsinki, plus however long he’d been in transit between there and his run from the KHL. Sid had been standing next to Mario, watching the new arrival expectantly, even though he didn’t think Geno was a threat. The other wolf had spent too much time negotiating on his own behalf to be allowed into another pack’s territory, and even more to be allowed to play with the team. Well, Wolfies it has been quite a semester. I started this blog to document my triumphs, trials, and of course, all the gossip I encountered as the sole female Radio Broadcasting major at BHU. Between co-hosting the morning show with Danny Mahealani, keeping my relationship with radio tech Vernon Boyd under wraps, and saving the department from crippling budget cuts--me and a group I surreptitiously named “The Wolf Pack”--managed to save the day.
