A year later, Sophie and Nate finally remember to get married. Looks like Eliot beat them to the punch.

She leans over the railing, her fingers snug around the metal out of experience, not of fear. She leans over further, feeling the wind scrape against her bare face. Her hair is safely tucked away, and she leans over a little more, looking at the sprawling world below. She always has loved skyscrapers. It’s not even the thrill - it’s the freedom.

Eliot watches, fascinated, as Hardison brings the joint to his lips and inhales, making the lit end burn bright and cherry-red for several long seconds.

The Leverage crew run into a new friend, find some buried treasure, and fight some Nazis. It's a pretty good day.

Eliot technically stole a baby, which is actually the least of Leverage's problems.

Alec Hardison had given a lot of thought to how he would die. Death by cop. Thrown into the darkest hole Guantanamo Bay possessed. Heart attack from a lifetime diet of hot pockets and orange-colored chemicals. He hadn't considered adding death by weather-inflicted man-eating-sharks to the list. (Or: Interspersed by media accounts of the incident, the tale of the Leverage team vs. Sharknado.)

When the Leverage team runs into a mark with a very distinctive ring, Eliot has a phone call to make. On the other side of the country, Magnus’s night just got Interesting, the headache-inducing way.

What starts out as a routine con for the Leverage crew takes a turn for the worse when Eliot, in a case of mistaken identity, is kidnapped by the BPO. To rescue him, Parker and Hardison will have to team up with a hacker named Nomi Marks and venture into a world stranger than anything they've ever imagined.

Parker, Hardison, and Eliot are youtubers. And also criminals, incidentally.

The thing about magic is that you can’t do it by yourself. No one person has enough magic in them to do even a minor casting – you need a coven. Parker knew that about magic, which was why she couldn’t trust it.
