Second Base
Dave never asked to be part of the Brady Bunch. This whole 'normal' thing is harshing his groove, really getting his non-ironic goat. John, of course, is delighted. (Post-game slice of life fic, cheerfully assumes a happy ending.)
Growing Pains
Man, Dave thought getting through adolescence was a pain in the ass for HUMANS. He had no idea how good they have it, until he saw what trolls got to go through.

You Are Here
When they cross the boundary into Hale territory, Stiles shifts a little in his sleep, shoulders hunching. Lydia's immunity carries over into most of the supernatural world: she can't be bitten, she can't be poisoned, and she's never been able to do magic on her own. Unlike Stiles, she can't feel the veil that separates Beacon Hills from the rest of the world. Sometimes she wonders if what happened before they left would have turned out differently if she'd undergone some transformative alchemy, but usually she tries not to think about it at all.
Storm of Sand, Rage of Fire
Makiguchi Katashi, personal guard to the Godaime Kazekage, woke up five years before the failed invasion that changed everything for Suna. Unsure if he was trapped in a genjutsu (they'd been fighting crazy Sharingan wielders after all), he went through his day per usual before realizing one thing. His best friend was killed by his then-yet-now crazy Kage today. So genjutsu or not, he had to try. He failed, but that was okay. Because his then-not-now crazy Kage had woken up disoriented too. And it wasn't a genjutsu.
Blood Brothers
*post Chapter 52* Everyone's feeling down after saving Eren from the Armored Titan. Jean's attempt to cheer everyone up changes everything. One Titan Shifter gave humanity hope. Imagine what seven can do.
Damaged Defenders
Thor takes a good look at Loki once he has hauled him back onto the quinjet, and realizes that there is something odd about Loki's eyes. Thor has grown and changed much in the last year, and no longer takes anything for granted. So he starts asking questions. It doesn't take long to figure out that Loki is not acting of his own free will. Tony Stark knows what it is to be forced to do as an enemy commands. Steve Rogers has seen the atrocities manipulative madmen are willing to commit. Clint, Logan, Bruce and Natasha have been subjected to said madmen. They all know what it is to lose themselves, and to seek redemption. Together, this band of broken heroes draws a line in the sand. They will not tolerate any tyrant, foreign or domestic. That includes Nick Fury and the WSC, who have used everyone on the team for their own aims. It includes Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, who has hunted Bruce against all reason. It includes Odin, who treats his sons like commodities. And it includes Thanos, who has delusions of conquering Earth. Along the way, they learn to trust each other. They learn to help each other. They become a family.
Captain Brooklyn: Beat Cop
Steve pauses when he sees the bizarre changes to Times Square. Well, what if he didn't? What if he got away and SHIELD didn't get him? He escapes. He learns. And in true Captain America fashion, he refuses to hide away and decides to take the fight to Hydra (because who else would capture him?) in the streets of New York, hiding among the Finest. Along the way, he picks up a rural hometown, a best friend who knows a little too much about the silver men, an old friend with new metal accessories in his fists, and a partner who doesn't freak out when Steve tells him Nazis are trying to kill him, please don't tell the Desk Sergeant? Oh, and at some point, he may just figure out that the weird guy at the coffee shop isn't gay, but is a SHIELD agent that's torn between turning THE CAPTAIN in and giving up the vacation this manhunt turned into.
Stormborn
Flashes of an unknown past haunt Naruto, entwining his steps with those of a former life no longer content to stay forgotten. There's a voice on the wind and another lifetime in his head, and it’s time for Uzushio’s Storm God to rise once more. (The soul of a city is a hard thing to kill. Uzushio is still aware, still waiting. And now, with the rebirth of her greatest Kage, it’s time to call her people home.)
House of Ash and Salt
The longest is the journey home. Dorian's continuing sojourn in Skyhold is interrupted by the arrival of an unexpected letter. It sets him on an uncertain course to face matters of his past, present and future.
Festina Lente
Or, five times Dorian Pavus and Iron Bull hastened slowly. Scenes from a love story. (Each chapter is a self-contained variation on a theme.)
Unum, Infractus
Some of the Herald's loyal followers take it upon themselves to punish a certain Tevinter mage for daring to corrupt their icon with his affections. In Skyhold, the Inquisitor's own fortress, the man he loves is attacked by the people he's sworn to protect. Worse, he's not there to stop it, or comfort his mage afterwards. Many of the Inner Circle are, however, and they're on the warpath: hunting down those responsible while trying to undo the damage done. Some scars are more than skin deep, though, and there may be more to the story than any of them realize...
The Women of the Night's Watch
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no husband and bear no children. I shall wear no gowns and no jewels. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life's blood to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come. -The Sisterhood of the Night's Watch
Wind Beneath Our Wings
Finn loves his friends but doesn't have the words for it yet. Rey cares about her friends but is wary of what that might mean. Poe is perfectly aware of everyone's feelings, thank you very much, and doesn't understand why nobody's kissing yet. (BB-8 just wants to get everyone awesome ships to fly around and show off with.) A story about what it means to love, what it means to be able to love, and (a little bit) piloting a spaceship as a metaphor for love.
Threads of Fate
And Everyone’s Starry Eyed
Kanae had never wanted a friend as badly as she wanted Hotaru. She had strong, platonic feelings towards her. (Problem is, they’re not platonic. Problem is, she doesn’t realize it.)
>Dave: survive three years on this rock
Growing up on a flying meteor is hard work. You know this from experience. TG: dude what is this piece of shit you just sent me CG: TO PUT IT IN YOUR HUMAN TERMS: CG: IT’S A FUCKING LOVE STORY, DAVE. Well, it's a bit more than that.
Bite
Orochimaru and his sons crash-land in Karakura. Soul Society is most definitely not prepared for what’s coming.
A Friend in Need
Just because an alpha can go through rut alone doesn't mean he should. "Okay." Lance's palms were sweaty with what he was about to say. He was about to break so many rules. "Cards on the table, guys. We got any omegas sitting here?"
Forever And A Bit
Originally, Gaara thought the plan - brought to him by a desperate and shaken Naruto on the last holding place of the world's few remaining shinobi - was both insane and impossible. No one ever accused Gaara of being sane, nor sensible, so he agreed anyway. He hadn't really expected it to work.
Lay me down in the sands of time
“No,” Obito says, flat and cold. It’s testament to how much she’s hardened over the last year that Hinata doesn’t even blink. She certainly doesn’t waver, feet planted firmly on the other side of the bed and eyes fixed on him. “Do you really think I would come to you if there was any other option?” she asks quietly.
for gold and rust (for diamonds and dust)
Kiba's probably the only emotionally well-adjusted member of the Konoha 12, and he's been aware of that for a while. He never thought that would qualify him for time travel, though.
Skin Deep
Trisha and Van's first child, Edith, was born a beautiful, healthy girl. The only problem? Ed knew he was a boy.
Keelhauled Into A Hurricane
"That's fine, you can go back to your own ship," Luffy dismissed easily. "But later on, when I become Pirate King, we're getting married!" The declaration held the kind of absolute finality that only Luffy could be capable of, and Law felt his jaw drop. NOW COMPLETE :D
the hours rise up, putting off stars
Fate has always had a love-hate relationship with the members of Team 7, and Sai is just now realizing that's he's most definitely not exempt.
I Summoned a Demon 101: an In-comprehensive guide to Corporeal Demon Do's and Don'ts
Midoriya Izuku was born with a quirk: the ability to summon and bind demons from an alternate plane to do his bidding. With only a few days left until the UA entrance exam and still no offensive-type demons in his arsenal, Izuku makes a desperate attempt at summoning one corporeal, a feat he had never before attempted. He'd say it was a success but, he doesn't actually know if it'll be more a help or a hindrance. Especially since Bakugou Katsuki is, well, kind of a shit.
Crazy (but all the best people are)
Maybe getting dragged all the way from Wave to Konoha won't turn out to be such torture after all.
for gold and rust (for diamonds and dust)
Kiba's probably the only emotionally well-adjusted member of the Konoha 12, and he's been aware of that for a while. He never thought that would qualify him for time travel, though.
A beacon in the dark
“My thanks.” He says, smiling back. “What is your name, boy?” “I’m Izuku! Izuku Midoriya, sir!” The boy replies, excited, looking up at him. And Toshinori looks into the unmoving washed out green, into milky white pupils visible behind the mess curly hair, and realizes. The boy is blind. The boy that he distinctly saw dodge a series of fairly quick attacks, light on his feet and clearly used to some kind of training, the boy that had thrown him the bottle at the perfect height and perfect speed, the boy that has easily collected his spilled groceries and orderly put them back into the little plastic bag— The boy. Is blind.

my heart is a church of scars
“I just want to go home,” he tells Nagato, and hates that he sounds so very much like the crybaby child Kakashi always calls him. Nagato's expression twists, grief and sympathy all wrapped up and tangled together. He catches Obito's bandaged face in his hands, leans in to touch their foreheads together, and it’s closer to anyone than Obito has been in years. “I know,” Nagato says, hoarse. “I know, Obito. But we can save everyone we love, we can save the world. All it takes is our sacrifice. And someday, when we’ve put everything to rights, we can go back. We can live in a good world with everyone we care for, and know that we’ll never lose them to war. Isn't that worth it?”
Unsettled
In which all of team seven are poster children for unhealthy relationships with their daemons. Except for Sasuke, who is fully in touch with his inner and outer daemons.
Like Water Dripping into the Ocean // We are Forever
There was a women lying unconscious in the alley behind the café. Nana blinked down at her bemusedly, both hands wrapped tight around the neck of a heavy trash bag. When she didn’t make any sounds or move, Nana shrugged, and made her way over to the trash bin, hauling the bag up and over into it. She was still in the same spot, sitting up against a wall, by the time Nana made it back to her, so Nana crouched down, and poked her in the cheek, peering down into her pretty face curiously. Later, she admitted to herself, wouldn’t it be more of an adventure if she didn’t tell anyone, and just helped the woman out on her own? Yes, yes it would. So she grinned, and crouched down in front of the woman and carefully lifted her onto her back. --- Nana was used to living life on her own, and on her own terms. Completely alone save for the few strays she took in when she got bored. Lal Mirch was something unexpected, though, and blew her otherwise normal life to smithereens. Namimori and Sawada Iemitsu weren't much better. What was a quiet Mist user minding her own business to do? Have fun with it and run wild, of course.
A Heart of Blades||Cannot Break
In which Yuuri was a Clearer in SAO, and this... Changes things. (Or the one in which Yuuri decides to try gaming on a whim when he's thirteen, manages to get his hands on SAO, and has to live with its impact and fallout for the rest of his life.)
IRL And All Realities
The first time he picked up Gryffindor's sword he had been young and terrified. The second time he fumbled the hilt, he had still been young and he had still been terrified. The third time? He was not much older and no more prepared for the world he had just entered, nor for the enemy he will face in order to win this twisted game of life and death.
Gilbert v. Anxiety, Shingles, and Kingdom Hearts
Brian has a successful web series. And anxiety. And shingles. And postherpetic neuralgia. And crippling insecurity. And student loans. And an inferiority complex. And a crush on his co-worker. So yeah, he’s doing great, how are you?
Nothing But the Truth
"Thankfully," says Ignis, "the spiders in this area aren’t of the venomous variety." Prompto perks up, and sets a paper bag of cookware on top of a rock. "Well, that's a relief." "Certain other species," says Ignis, "are not nearly so benign." Noct laughs a little at Prompto's face, which is caught somewhere between terror and disbelief. "C'mon, Specs, quit trolling him. He's gonna wish he didn't come."
static electricity, dreaming of lightning

What he doesn't expect is the interference of one Commander Cody, which throws him into a tailspin and sets off a cascade of events that absolutely no one could have predicted. The Lost Cause
AU in which Nie Huaisang and Jin Guangyao work together to take down Jin Guangshan from the beginning. Or: the story in which Nie Huaisang just wants to paint fans and feed birds and he doesn't understand why this is so much to ask.

Chasing Warmth
“I’m going to the Sui household,” Wang Zhi declared, taking the decision as he voiced it. He wouldn’t get any work done today. He hesitated at the threshold though. Ding Rong didn’t react in any way, always stoic no matter the order, though he had been getting more inquisitive lately. "Come." Or, if Wang Zhi had taken Ding Rong along.
trade your heart for bones to know
A week after an attack that nearly killed him and his son, Jaster Mereel finds Mostross dead on a battlefield. His killer is a Jedi, grievously wounded, who Jaster takes into his care. By Mandalorian tradition, Jon Antilles owes him a life-debt, and Jaster is cunning enough not to let such a thing slip away. It's meant to be an entirely political arrangement. It doesn't stay that way for long.
hearth and home
Nyx wakes up on an alien world, the imprint of the Ring of the Lucii burned into his finger. It's still not the weirdest thing that's happened to him in the last twenty-four hours.
heartlines
When he rejoins the Order in the middle of the Clone Wars, all Ferus wants is to help as many people as possible. An emergency mission lands him in control of the 501st before he even has time to catch his balance, though, and the disappearance of the Chancellor means there's no time to waste. The galaxy's Deep Core is a treacherous maze of deadly planets and old traps, and fighting their way through is the sort of thing that would push Ferus to his limits, even without a squad of clones to protect at the same time.
these soldiers have sun-fired bones
Only a few years after being Knighted, one of Feemor's missions takes a turn for the worse. He's saved from certain death by a Mandalorian in black and red armor, a Mandalorian who just happens to be looking for the same long-lost artefact that Feemor is after. With Feemor injured, they have to work together to find it, but that's just the start of the trouble.
like a dark horse made of air
Getting flung five years into the past is pretty much a miracle. Crash-landing on the weirdest Jedi Master he's ever had the misfortune to meet is a lot more like one extended headache for Rex, especially when he also has to contend with a brand new Force sensitivity, old friends, a Force spirit wearing a familiar face, Sith Lords, ruthless cloners, and the looming shadow of a coming war. Maybe it really would have been easier to make like Obi-Wan and find a nice, sandy planet to bury himself on.
I dig my hands into the absolute (the surface breaks)
“You have to take her to the crèche, Antilles,” Nico says sternly. Jon doesn’t clutch at the little Togruta girl, doesn’t bury her in his robes and hide her away from Nico's judgmental stare, doesn’t pick her up and run with her. Personally, he thinks it’s an admirable show of self-restraint, but given the downturn of Nico's mustache, he doesn’t agree.
Spring in Hell (and everything's blooming)
Jon Antilles has spent most of the war keeping his head down and staying out of the fighting. But when he and Fay find evidence of a new bioweapon going to production on a Separatist planet, they move to destroy it rather than let it be deployed against the clone armies. Dooku's presence is an unexpected complication, and rather than break cover, Jon lets himself be captured and thrown in the Count's personal dungeon. He's not the only one there, however. Rex and his men have also been captured, and they're not about to trust a stranger in their midst. Jon has to pick between keeping out of the war the way he has been or rescuing the clones, blowing his cover and losing the freedom he's fought so hard for.
