So then, because he’s Hardison, he created a fandom.
Troy & Abed in the Yuletide
“I got behind when we were all Claymation,” Abed told Troy. His laptop clicked open, lighting his face in a bluish alien glow. “So I’m finishing my last Yuletide treat tonight.” Abed's movies about the study group have become a Yuletide fandom, and he's finishing up one last story for Troy.
Alternative History of the Sterek Fandom
The study group finds a new show to watch: MTV's Teen Wolf.
Britta Can't Say That Word
“Okay,” Troy says, “I am not a Magical Negro. I just happen to have special abilities that I use to heal a large number of white people and oh.” “See?” Britta says. “Fight the power, Troy!” (Or, the one where Troy being the Truest Repairman turns out to be way more trouble than it's worth.)
how a disabled Inquisitor not only changes the Inquisition but also Thedas itself
This is a metafic about a disabled Inquisitor and the changes the disability not only brings for them, but also for their companions, their advisors, the Inquisition as a whole, and the people of Thedas. One of my goals for this was for it to be as inclusive as possible: your Inquisitor's race and gender don't matter. Every possible class is addressed. Topics include: addiction, amputation, bigots, blindness, depression, muteness, tranquil mages, transsexuality, veterans, withdrawal.
Mole: An adventure in cooking
This is meta and pics of my first attempt to make Rick Bayless's mole as an homage to coinin's awesome family/food/awesome fic.
Repost: Strawhats, what they're called and how they talk
Back in August 2008 I posted a suggestion on this comm about gathering information on how the Strawhats talk and address each other. I included examples of how it might look for Luffy and Zoro. Over time I expanded the original entry until it encompassed all the Strawhats, with plenty of helpful pointers from posters in the thread. The old entry is still there, but as the context of the presentation is different now, it occurred to me it might be good to repost what I’ve got. (Mods, please let me know if this is a problem.) Edit: And here's another post focusing on the way they speak in general, written by someone far more qualified than I am on these matters./edit
“Not Romantic And Not Passionate”
I’ve been thinking since the ending of Yuri!!! on Ice, especially since its closing lines made me break out into ugly, wracking sobs, about how the show defines love, and how it is such a delightfully Japanese interpretation of the concept to my (American) mind.
