Looking For a Place to Happen
In a timeline where the Vulcans never allowed Earth freedom from their oversight, Jim Kirk doesn't fit in. All he needs to get away is a fast ship and a crew as crazy as he is; luckily, some things are universal constants. Notes: An AU expanded and continued from a shorter fic, which has now become the prologue. Fic and part titles variously come from songs by the Tragically Hip, Iggy Pop and Bob Dylan and a quote you may recognize from TOS.
An Ever-Fixed Mark
Fusion with Ursula le Guin's planet O. In a world with very different marriage rules, a noble wedding and a magical threat still can't make Merlin, Arthur, Gwen and Morgana talk about their feelings.
Feathered Frenzy
You know of those stories where the transporter sends Kirk or Spock careening into another universe where everything is weird? Well, this isn't one of those. No, this is the story where the transporter makes everything weird in its own universe. Though it skipped the gender-change trope. No, this is a new one. Add on sex, political negotiations, angry admirals, and an unexpected marriage and things get quite complicated.
Amalgamation
As a half-Vulcan, Spock never expects to imprint. It's rare enough for a full-blooded Vulcan to imprint, so why should he have it easy? But he does imprint – on the delinquent who sabotaged his Kobayashi Maru. And everything he once knew is about to change.
Simply Complicated
Tommy should have known that something was up when the guy had walked into the restaurant and he’d immediately been drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Tommy had never really thought that instant attraction was real, but it sure felt like he had been wrong. And after what he thinks is just a simple one-night stand, it turns out that he was right after all. Instant attraction really is bullshit, but bonding is apparently all too real. To make things even more complicated, it turns out that he bonded with Adam Lambert – as in Adam Lambert, the rock star. It isn’t the most ideal way of finding a gig, but it’s a simple enough solution to their problem, so Tommy goes on tour with Adam as his bassist while they wait for the bond to run its course. It goes surprisingly well – Tommy fits in great with the band and he and Adam fall into an easy friendship (it doesn’t hurt that the sex is amazing either). It all seems so simple, until Tommy realizes that it’s not.
Man in the Moon
When Spencer is born, he gets his dad’s blue eyes, his mom’s auburn hair and his great, great, great grandparents’ lycanthropy. A story about Spencer's life growing up as a werewolf, meeting his mate and being confused as to why one of his band mates smells so fucking good all the time.
Crash Into Me
If Kris ever thought of bonding, he thought of Katy. Not the American Idol, an aloof, self-proclaimed rock star in too much eyeliner and leather. He thought of marriage and love, not a last minute desperate attempt from a stranger to save his life.
Two Part Harmony
The therapists said I was depressed. I was too exhausted to fight them on the diagnoses. That was what our little road-trip was about. Trying to find my Guide before I ended up in the New Jersey Center for Disturbed Sentinels. In reality, finding my guide didn't really matter to me anymore. All I wanted was to make sure Gerard found his Guide before her turned back to the drugs.
Even Forbidden Fruits Get Picked
When Stiles’ best friend gets himself bitten by a rogue werewolf, Stiles convinces him to seek aide from the local pack. Stiles tags along, ready to help Scott despite the knowledge that he likely wouldn’t be welcome. Doms rarely ever approved of Stiles and he thought the Hales would be no exception, so he was surprised to find that not only had the rogue seemed to develop some kind of creepy fascination with him, the young alpha wolf, Derek, seemed to want him as well.
Bound to the Beat
In a near canon world where orientation refers to dominance or submission, not sexuality, almost everyone has a soulmate that is supposed to complement their personality, biology, orientation and heart. Most people look forward to the day when the psionic bond sparks into existence, connecting them to their other halves. However, a trauma left Bob wanting anything but the bond he sees as a dangerous trap, and he takes matters in his own hands to chemically prevent his bond from effecting him. Patrick doesn't know what he did wrong but he knows that for some reason, his soulmate has rejected him and he has to learn to live with that. Between their pasts, their bands, and their hopes, neither of them expects end up where they do - so close with so much distance still between them.
