Harlequin Romance. Tim hadn’t expected to spot him so soon, but the modelling of his forehead, and his cheekbones, were obviously, unmistakeably, Clark’s. His mouth was completely different though, and his jaw, and his eyes were a shade or two lighter in their blue. They landed on Tim, briefly, and Tim looked back, held the glance steadily for a beat, two, before looking away. It was a reasonable start to the mission.

Tim Drake is Bruce Wayne's adopted son and heir to Wayne Enterprises, and also Robin, masked vigilante, by night. In this AU, Conner was raised by Luthor, and is a VP in Luthor Tech. The two 26-year-olds meet while competing with their respective companies over a deal with Cadmus Labs, develop a relationship that starts with rivalry and ends with trust (and hotness omg).

So, if Tim Drake had been trained/raised by Smallville-verse Lex Luthor instead of Batman? It would totally go like this.

Tim's worked at a different haunted house every year since he was nine. He's seen everything from charities to con fronts in his time and isn't really impressed by it anymore. The Bat Cave is on a whole other level though.

Jason has opinions about both Hamlet and bullying, and is willing to express those opinions with words. Or his fists. Whichever is the best weapon at the time. It's all the same in the end to him.

Batman is very happy with the way that Robin has picked up his training, his methods and his habits. Generally. But his protege showing up at the Batcave with two small children, Tim and Jason, clinging to him proves he's adopted one trait Batman would have rather he hadn't. It seems the batfamily has an incurable penchant for picking up strays, and Tim and Jason are only the beginning.

Tim refrains from telling Jason that most people are terrified of sharks. It seems a bit pointless. Tim isn't most people, after all.

Jason Todd yanks on his red helmet and switches over to the Bat comms. The comm line is a scramble of everyone talking around and over each other, hunting for Robin.

Jason Todd is a hunter, one of the best in the business. Dick Grayson is an incubus, one of the most powerful there is. Somehow, they still manage to be something resembling...friends.

Dick pulled a face at the new paperwork. “Why do we gotta lie on this stuff, anyway? People aren’t gonna know what I can do exactly when I’m Robin...” “But they’ll suspect,” Bruce answered, typing something on his computer. “This way, if they think Richard Grayson isn’t all that impressive of a metahuman, it’s more cover for Robin flying through Gotham.” “Hmph.” --- In an AU where small, token superpowers are common enough to have their own optional line on forms alongside name and age, it's totally coincidence for Batman to have picked up a circus kid capable of flight. And a tire thief with super strength. And a- well, alright, the pint-sized photographer with not-actual-invisibility makes for a pattern, but even so. (He still tells the Justice League he doesn't allow metahumans in Gotham, though. Somehow with a straight face.) Series

Jason, on a mission, gets captured. Tim, working undercover, goes to get him out. There's...a side benefit.

The news that Timothy Drake, Gotham’s cryptid millionaire, has shot the Joker dead during a public live-stream hits the world like a freight train—and that is just the opening salvo of his bugfuck plan. Maybe there exists, in the multiverse, a configuration of Jason Todd who will weather this with decorum, dignity and self-respect. This version of Jason Todd decides that the life of an academic is not, really, all that rewarding. In contrast, the life of Timothy Drake’s live-in house-husband is looking more appealing by the second.

“Welcome to Red Hood’s Apothecary,” Jason says, coolly. “What can I do for you?” The stranger comes up to the counter, and Jason shudders. The man is short and slim, but there’s an aura of power around him that calls to Jason’s demonic nature. That can only mean one thing. Witch. And one trained by someone skilled. In fact, Jason is pretty sure that he recognizes Bruce's style all over the guy's warded clothes. Acid bubbles in his belly. His replacement has no business looking so good.

AU in which Jason doesn't die and Tim never becomes Robin. Tim still knows Jason is Robin, but to Jason he's that really pretty boy he has a crush on.

Bernard is maybe not doing all that great at his first gala but Tim Drake is nothing if not a problem-solver and Conner Luthor . . . well, he's here too?
