Leon realizes he looks forward to his "interrogations" of D

Count D discovers that it is one thing to know, but another to understand.

D sells Suhara a rather strange pet, and Leon joins ACME. But no one really gets quite what they expected, and nothing turns out how it should.

“You’re going to put someone’s eye out with that, Detective.” D said, unable to completely hide his smile as he watched the other man fumble with his fishing rod.

D's next letter arrived carried by a pair of robins. Before he even opened it, Leon had half-written his reply:
